Dear Parent/Guardian,

FAST PM3 scores for Grades K-2 will be sent home by your child’s teacher. You will receive a Parent/Family report with the score information.

FAST PM3 scores for Grades 3-10 and scores for the B.E.S.T. Algebra 1 and Geometry EOCs will be available on the Student and Parent Portals in FOCUS and on the FOCUS Community App within 24 hours from the time your student takes the test. If your student participated in FAST PM1 and/or PM2 those results are there for you to see now.

For FAST Grades 3-10 and the B.E.S.T. EOCs you will see the scale score, achievement level, and a bar graph indicating the student’s scale score and where it falls in the achievement level. Individual Student Reports will be posted in early August that will also show the percentile rank.

You will access the scores by logging into the Student Portal or Parent Portal in FOCUS or the FOCUS Community App and clicking on Florida Statewide Assessments as shown in the pictures.

For more information on FAST for Grades K-10 please visit www.flfast.org, click on Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST), Students and Families, and scroll down to resources for Students and Families.

2022-2023 ESE Parent Survey

The 2022-2023 ESE Parent Survey window is now open! Each year, the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) surveys parents of children with an individual educational plan (IEP) to determine how well districts and schools are partnering with parents and promoting parent involvement in their child’s education. All states must collect these data for reporting on their State Performance Plan, as required under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Additionally, survey results will be used to help schools and districts improve services and results for children with disabilities.

The survey is open to all parents of children with an IEP receiving ESE services from preschool age through grade 12. While demographic information must be collected in compliance with federal requirements, individual responses are confidential. Beginning with the 2022-2023 school year, the survey will only be offered in web-based format at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ESEParentSurvey
